Generate Series
Creates a one-column table of numbers, dates or timestamps from a start to a stop at a fixed step, such as every day or every 15 minutes. Useful as a calendar to join facts onto.
Also known as: Date spine, calendar table, range
How it works
Kind sets the type: Integer, Date or Timestamp. Start and Stop are both included, and Step is a number for integers or an interval such as 1 day, 1 month or 15 minutes. Output column names the single column, value by default. A fresh node counts 1 to 10 in steps of 1. The node does not run while a bound or the step is blank or of the wrong kind. To expand each row of an existing table by its own range, use Generate Rows.

Example
A date spine for a year of daily sales: Kind Date, Start 2026-01-01, Stop 2026-12-31, Step 1 day, Output column day. Wire it into Densify's spine input so days with no sales still appear.
