Sort

Puts rows in order by one or more columns, ascending or descending, with blanks first or last.

Also known as: Order by

How it works

Add sort key adds one key at a time: a column, a Direction of Asc or Desc, and whether blanks go First or Last under Nulls, ascending with blanks last by default. Keys apply in order, the second breaking ties of the first. Stable (preserve input order on ties) keeps rows that tie on every key in the order they arrived; it is off by default. With no keys the node keeps the source order.

Settings

The Attributes panel of Sort, as in the app: the controls work, but nothing runs — there is no data behind it.

The same settings, as the Assistant writes them
{
  orderBy: [{ column: string, direction: "asc"|"desc", nulls: "first"|"last" }]
}

Example

Highest sales first, then alphabetically within a tie: sales Descending with blanks Last, then name Ascending.
