Geo Reader
Reads a map file with its geometry: GeoJSON, Shapefile (also zipped), GeoPackage, GML, KML/KMZ, GPX, FlatGeobuf or MapInfo TAB. For a file with several layers, you pick which layer to read.
Also known as: Shapefile, GeoPackage, KML
How it works
Add the file from Add data source → File; a drone reads it with GDAL. When the file has more than one layer (GeoPackage, GML, KML folders), Layer lets you pick one; otherwise the first layer is read. Geometry column names the column the geometry is read under (blank keeps GDAL's name, geom) and Reproject to takes an EPSG code to read the geometry in, blank keeping the file's own CRS. The drone reports the CRS of what it read and counts coordinates that fall out of range or on Null Island, and those counts appear as warnings on the node.

Settings
The Attributes panel of Geo Reader, as in the app: the controls work, but nothing runs — there is no data behind it.
Example
A city.gpkg with the layers districts and roads, stored in a national projection. Pick districts in Layer and set Reproject to EPSG:4326 so the Map tab and a Spatial Join with lon/lat points both work without a separate Reproject step.
